Elections will be held to fill positions on the Board of Directors (the "Board") of the Young Chinese Professionals Association ("YCPA") for the term commencing on January 1, 2027, and ending on December 31, 2028.
Any individual wishing to run for a position on the Board must submit a complete nomination package electronically to the outgoing Vice President of YCPA no later than the deadline indicated below, at the following email address: xiaowen.zhang@ycpa.ca.
The election process will take place in four (4) stages:
- Review of applications and selection of candidates by the Elections Committee.
- Presentation of the selected candidates to the members of YCPA.
- Election of the President, the two Vice Presidents, the Secretary, and the Treasurer by the members of YCPA at the Annual General Meeting.
- Election of the remaining Directors by the members of YCPA at the Annual General Meeting.

1. ELECTIONS COMMITTEE
The Elections Committee (the "Committee") is composed of one (1) or two (2) YCPA Directors, as well as three (3) entrepreneurs and/or prominent members of Montreal's Asian business community.
Members of the Committee do not have voting rights in the election process and are not eligible to submit their candidacy for any position on the Board.
The Committee is responsible for reviewing and evaluating applications for all Board positions, including those of President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
The Committee is also responsible for compiling and announcing the election results at the Annual General Meeting.
