Let's discover the dragon boat festival

In wake of the Dragon Boat Festival, we are pleased to invite you to the activity “Let's discover the Dragon Boat Festival and contemplate the Chinese garden” co-organized by the Consulate General of China in Montreal and the Montreal Botanical Garden, in collaboration with the Montreal Chinese Culture and Arts Foundation (MCCAF), the Young Chinese Professionals Association (YCPA), Inter-Bridges and the Montreal Chan Lion Dance Club.

Date and time: Saturday June 8th from 14h to 17h30

In addition to the performances, from 13h30, you are also invited to experience for yourself the art of calligraphy, traditional Chinese makeup, the origin and customs of the Dragon Boat Festival, the paper exhibition cut out and exposing the natural landscape of China all in a miniature of nature in harmony with man.

The activity will officially begin at 13h30, but you will be able to enter the Montreal Botanical Garden for free during opening hours on Saturday, June 8th. You must present the attached cardboard on your mobile device at the entrance.
