The Young Chinese Professionals Association (hereinafter “YCPA”) is holding its 2026 mid-term elections for its Board of Directors (hereinafter the “Board”). The mandate will begin on January 1, 2026 and will end on December 31, 2026.
All candidates must submit their application electronically to the Vice-President, Xiao Wen Zhang, before the deadline (as defined below), at the following email address: xiaowen.zhang@ycpa.ca.

The elections will take place in three stages:
- Review of applications and selection of candidates by the Elections Committee.
- Presentation to the Board of the three (3) candidates selected by the Elections Committee, followed by a Board vote to designate the chosen candidate.
- Election by acclamation of the new Board Director by YCPA members at the Annual General Meeting.
1. ELECTIONS COMMITTEE
The Elections Committee (hereinafter the “Committee”) is composed of two (2) members of the Board of Directors as well as three (3) entrepreneurs and/or influential members of Montreal’s Asian business community.
The members of the Committee have no voting rights and may not submit their candidacy to serve on YCPA’s Board of Directors.
The Committee is responsible for evaluating applications for the position of Board Director of YCPA and for disclosing the voting results at the Annual General Meeting.
