Miao Yan has been with YCPA since 2008. Prior to becoming the Director of Communications of YCPA, she held the positions of Secretary and Treasurer sequentially. She has always been active in extracurricular activities and enjoys offering her time and skills in helping her fellows. Working on the executive team of YCPA has allowed her to contribute to the local Asian community.
Miao has recently graduated from the Desautels Faculty of Management of McGill University with specialization in Finance and Accounting. Shortly after her graduation, her impressive academic records, her well-rounded qualities and achievements have allowed her to be recruited by the federal government to join the Public Services as a Financial Officer. She is also currently a CFA candidate. Her career in Public Services has enabled her to succeed by optimizing her professional expertise and strengths in Finance.
