VukietTran grew up and completed his Doctorate in Medicine and his Postgraduate Study in Montreal. He then moved with his family to Toronto where he obtained his Master in Health Sciences then his MBA, while working full-time as an emergency physician in University Health Network and as Assistant Professor for the Department of Family Medicine and Community Medicine of University of Toronto.
Vukiet also acts as Medical Director at Pacific Medical Center and Co-Chair of Planning Committee of University Health Network.Besides, Vukiet is particularly interested in medical teaching. He has evolved from ACLS, ATLS instructor to Course Director, then Medical Director and Master Instructor. He is also examiner for the College of Family Physician of Canada and supervisor of Ontario's Nurse Practitioner, and he sits in the Advisory Board Consultancy for big pharmaceutical companies such as Abbott, Astra-Zeneca and Jansen-Ortho.
