Shaopeng CHEN

Shaopeng is native from Montreal. After having completed his degree in computer science at McGill University, he then moved to Silicon Valley, California, where he became an IT security expert. He carries over with him more than 15 years of experience in software development, system design, consulting, project management and entrepreneurship. In 2003, Shaopeng founded IDSignet, which is a consulting IT services and software development company based in Shanghai. In 2009, IDSignet merged with Cardinfo. In fact, Cardinfo is a spin-off from China UnionPay, and is one of the largest third-party electronic payment services companies in term of transaction volume. Shaopeng is currently CTO and VP of Engineering at Cardinfo. Shaopeng also holds a patent on database security design and another patent on digital signature method and application.
Fluent in English, French and Chinese, Shaopeng has proved his acumen as an innovative inventor and business leader.
